Condolence & Memory Journal

Candle

I'm sitting here missing you today It's been a year and half now since you passed so quietly I didn't hear you go even though you were only 2 feet away.
On Sundays you would come up to visit and we'd play backgammon or checkers. You'd sit there and tell me how to service the lawn mower and how to mow the yard. You'd tell me how Buddy, my dog, would steal your chewing tobacco when you were there working on something and then would have to jump on the riding mower and search the yard till you found it. How he'd sneak off with your tool or parts when you turned your back. LOL
When I snuck Tippers in to the rehab after you had your gall bladder out when he was just a puppy. The nurse came in and your room mate hid him in his bed till she left...
How every time I came over, Tippers would run to your chair and if you weren't in it, he'd run into your bedroom and try to jump up on your bed to wake you up. You always woke up smiling and laughing at him!
Of our trip to Florida playing tourist and visiting Katie, then running up to S. Carolina to visit your cousin. I got pulled over by a State cop for speeding and you grabbing your camera to take a picture of me getting my first speeding ticket. I was so embarassed the cop gave me a warning. LOL
How I found out you loved the shore and never knew before, and how you loved feeding the seagulls..
As you always said, "The good deeds you do for others, is the rent you pay for your room on earth" You paid alot of rent over the years helping others.
Yes, sitting here missing you terribly. Miss you and love you Dad!

I am so sorry for the loss to the Baublitz family. I will miss the huge smile that came across Warrens face when I would say "Hi trouble" every time he went to visit Sandy. That smile will be forever remembered.

A person that departs from this earth never truly leaves, for they are still alive in our hearts and minds, through us, they live on. It was a blessing that I had the privilege to have met Warren through working with Sandy. He was a wonderful man. Please accept my condolences, he will not be forgotten.
