Harold E. Hake, of Citra, FL, died on Mon., February 22, 2016 at 5:50pm at Sylvia House in Ocala, FL at the age of 89.

He was the husband of Karen A. (Hoffman) Hake of Citra, FL., to whom he married on January 15, 1994, celebrating 22 years together.

He was born in New Bridgeville on November 17, 1926 and is the son of the late Elmer J. and Edith May (Craley) Hake.

Harold was a truck driver and the previous owner of the Villa Mar Hotel in Columbia. He attended Citra United Methodist Church; a member of the VFW, American Legion in Wrightsvile and the former Moose Lodge in Columbia.

Surving besides his wife Karen; a daughter- Romaine Stalnaker and husband Michael of Ocala, FL; a step daughter – Tabitha Gray and husband Ron of Fayetteville, NC; a step son – Craig Quinn of Ocala, FL; 8 grandchildren – Michael Stalnaker,Jr., Kyndall Stalnaker, Christian Kelly, Lillian Quinn, Jack Simmons, R. J. Gray, Michael Paley and his wife Kim, Mary Grace Paley and husband Lucas; 2 great grandchildren – Donovan Paley and Cassandra Paley; nieces and nephews.

He was preceded by daughter - Connie Lee Paley, brother – Emory, and 3 sisters- Olive, Romaine and Dorothy.
Viewing(s): Mon., February 29th , from 6-7pm at Burg Funeral Home, Inc., 134 W. Broadway, Red Lion. Service of Honor and Praise for Harold will begin at 7pm on Monday at the funeral home. Cremation will follow the services. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family at Susquehanna Memorial Gardens.

Rev. Brian Witmer of Red Lion Bible Church will officiate.

Harold was a loving husband and father.
