Brian Michael Howard entered into eternal rest unexpectedly on Thursday, Jan. 21, 2016, at 5:40 p.m. at Memorial Hospital at the age of 41. He was the husband of Sandre L. (Stonesifer) Howard of Wrightsville, to whom he married on Jan. 18, 2003.Brian was born in York on February 14, 1974, and is the son of Stephen H. and Brenda L. (Snyder) Howard of Wrightsville.

Brian was a tool and die maker, working at TE Connectivity in Landisville, Lancaster County. He also worked helping a friend at Poff Industries in York when they needed an extra hand. He was a social member of the Sons of American Legion Post #232 for 18 years in Path Valley, Pa.

Besides his wife, Sandre, and parents, Stephen and Brenda, he leaves to cherish his memory a sister, Michelle L. Dodson and her husband Victor of East Prospect; a nephew, Logan M. Dodson; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and in-laws.

A Viewing will be held Wed., Jan. 27 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Burg Funeral Home, Inc., 134 W. Broadway, Red Lion. A Service of Honor and Praise to celebrate Brian's life will begin at 7 p.m. at the funeral home. The Rev. Albert R. Horst, pastor of Zion United Methodist Church in East Prospect, will officiate. Cremation will take place and burial will be private at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be offered to York County SPCA, 3159 Susquehanna Trail North, York, PA 17406.Brian was a wonderful Son and Brother and Husband.

He was remembered as being a very smart man who was willing to help anyone with anything. He always had a way to figure out how to make something work. He loved hunting, fishing and spending time in the mountains. He was a big NASCAR fan, his favorite being Tony Stewart. He was loved by everyone he met and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.Brian was very fond of animals. His two dogs, Maggie and Rock, crossed the Rainbow Bridge a few years ago. Now they are wagging their tails and together again with their best friend!
