Hilda L (Tusing) Stein, entered into God's care on Wednesday, July 12, 2017 at 8 pm at Colonial Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center at the age of 87. She was the wife of the late Glenn E. Stein who entered into rest on December 3, 1986.
She was born in Rockingham County, VA on June 22, 1930 and was the daughter of the late Charles O. and Mary (Tusing) Tusing. She worked at the former McCroy's in York, retiring after many years of service and then she did alterations , for local business' and individuals. She was a member of the Manchester Assembly of God Church and a former member of the Red Lion Grange.
Hilda leaves a son, James E. Fulk of Gattoes, VA, a daughter, Judy Bell (Bill) of Deep Water MO., four grandchildren, Tyler J. Fulk, Denver CO, Chad M. Fulk of Timbermill, VA, Jay A. Dove of Broadway, VA and Angie Hold of Baraboo, WI and two great grandchildren. She also leaves a sister, Helen Nazerod of Broadway, VA and nieces and nephews and a very special friend, Frank Walker of York. She was preceded in death by a great grandson and six siblings.
Viewing will be on Tuesday, July 18th from 6-7 pm at Burg Funeral Home, Inc., 134 W. Broadway, Red Lion. A Service of Honor and Praise for Hilda will begin at 7 pm at the funeral home with her nephew, Pastor Frank Tusing officiating.
Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family in Freysville Cemetery.
