James W. "Jim"Blouse, of York, went from Life to Life Eternal on Tuesday, June 6, 2017 at York Hospital after a brief illness at 8:55 am at the age of 65. He was the husband of Lorena Millar of York.

Jim was born in York on June 20, 1951 and is the son of Treva M. (Grim) Blouse of Dallastown and the late Weldon W. Blouse. He was a member of Bethlehem Stonepile United Methodist Church where he volunteered at the Covenant Food Pantry. A member of the National Rifle Association, National Wildlife Turkey Federation and the Austin-Costello Sportsman Club. Jim enjoyed going to the cabin in the mountains and was an avid hunter and sportsman. He was also one of the original members of the Camp Big Hollow.

Jim leaves to cherish his memory, his Mother, Wife, a sister, Janis L. Grimm and her husband Terryl of Red Lion, and two brothers, Jan M. Blouse and his companion Linda Neiman of Red Lion and Jerry W. Blouse and his wife Jenny of York. Five nieces and nephews, Brenton (Chris) Blouse, Michael Blouse, Dirk (Katie) Grimm, Derek (Holly) Grimm and Dustin (Hannah) Grimm, Michele Potter. 5 great nieces and nephews.

There will be no viewing. Cremation will take place with Burg Funeral Home, Inc., 134 W. Broadway, Red Lion. A Memorial Service of Honor and Praise for Jim will be on Friday, June 9, 2017 at 7 pm at the funeral home with his pastor, Rev. Thomas R. Osenbach officiating. Visitation for family and friends to gather will be from 6-7 pm at the funeral home. Burial will be at Bethlehem Stonepile Cemetery at the convenience of the family.

Jim's family would like to extend a heartfelt thank-you to the Staff at Colonial Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center and the Doctors and Nurses at York Hospital- Trauma ICU for the wonderful care that their brother received during his stay at both facilities and for the compassion shown to them during this difficult time.
