Jovi A. Henise of Windsor entered into rest on Wednesday, May 17, 2017 at his home in Windsor at the age of 29.

He was born in York on September 13, 1987.

Jovi is survived by his son, Abram Michael Henise of Mt. Wolf; grandmother, Brenda J. (Miller) Smeltzer of Windsor; girlfriend, Charlotte E. Spangler of York; twin sister, Jala A. Henise and her fiancé, Andy Poling and niece, Lillee M. Yeckley, all of Harrisburg; sister, Jesa A. Miller and her fiancé, Scott Rodkey of York; father, Bret A. Henise of Delaware ; aunt, Michelle Dunlap and her husband, Stephen; nephew, Trentyn D. Dunlap; cousins, Zac Dunlap and Bree Dunlap all of Windsor.

He was preceded in death by his son, Jacobi Allyn Henise; mother, Kelly Jo Miller and grandfather, Dale E. Smeltzer.

Viewing will be on Wednesday, May 24th from 10-11 AM at Burg Funeral Home, Inc., 134 W. Broadway, Red Lion .
A Service of Honor and Praise for Jovi will begin on Wednesday at 11 am at the funeral home. Rev. Timothy A. Funk, pastor of St. Paul's UM Church will officiate.
Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.

Jovi loved animals, music, and was always willing to help anyone. He had a passion for working on cars, especially Mustangs and shared his love for going to car shows with his grandfather, who he adored. He will be missed greatly as he was known for always being able to make everyone laugh.
