Kenneth "Ken" E. Michael of Dallastown, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, October 2, 2016 at 10 AM at York Hospital at the age of 84. He is the husband of Ida L. (Cordrey) Michael of Dallastown, to whom he was married for 40 years.

He was born in Winterstown on July 12, 1932 and was the son of the late Silas W. and Agnes F. (Hovermale ) Michael. Ken was a Hydraulic Technician at Manitowacc for many years prior to his retirement. He was a member of St. John's Blymire United Church of Christ in Dallastown. Ken was a United States Army veteran, serving during the Korean War.

Besides his wife, Ida, he is survived by nine children, Dale A. Michael, Darryll G. Michael, Jeffrey B. Michael, Vickie L. Kline, Barbara E. Cooper, Robert E. Waltemyer, Brenda M. Wolf, Wanda L. Gerber and Hope A. Olewiler; 25 grandchildren ; 20 great grandchildren and a grandniece, Katrina Kinneer.

A Service of Honor and Praise for Ken will begin at 1 pm on Thursday, October 6th at Burg Funeral Home, Inc., 134 W. Broadway, Red Lion. Viewing will be from 12 - 1 pm, one hour prior to the service with his pastor, Rev. LouAnn Jones officiating. Burial will follow the service at Susquehanna Memorial Gardens.
Ken has requested that his many friends and relatives that will be attending his service to please dress casually.

Memorial contributions, in lieu of flowers, may be offered to, St. John's Blymire United Church of Christ, 1009 Blymire Road, Dallastown, PA 17313.
