Lois Mae (Gohn) Bolton, of York, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, February 23, 2017 at York Hospital at 5:55pm at the age of 82. She was the wife of the late Richard J. Bolton whom entered into eternal rest on January 2, 1989.

Born on May 18, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Charles Edgar and Carrie Mae (Bair) Gohn. Lois was a caring and loving homemaker who, after the death of her husband decided to bravely enter the workforce. Her co-workers at Continental Insurance and Pfaltzgraff Pottery in York will remember her smile and energy.

Lois was an active member of Windsor Assembly of God. While she and her late husband organized the missionary budget for many years, supporting the spread of the gospel around the world, it is for her decades of dedication as a Sunday School teacher that generations of children will remember her.
Lois is also loved by her large, extended family; especially her nieces, nephews, and their children who enjoyed her cupcakes and other specialties at family reunions and Christmas parties.

She leaves to cherish her memory a son- Richard J. Bolton, Jr. of York; 4 grandchildren- Kyle E. Bolton and his wife, Laura L. of Windsor, Kimberly A. Malehorn and her husband, David N. of Hanover, Lindsay M. Bolton of Salisbury, NC, Elizabeth J. Bolton of Hanover; 5 great grandchildren, Braden Bolton, Bryce Bolton, Leila Malehorn, William Bolton, Maddyson Wagaman and a great granddaughter, due in April; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a son, Timothy Charles Bolton on Nov. 30, 2003 and siblings, Helen, Dorothy and Charles "Bubb."

Viewing for Lois will be on Wednesday, March 1st from 10:00 – 11:00 am at Windsor Assembly of God Church; 21 N. Penn St., Windsor, PA 17366.
Burg Funeral Home, Inc., 134 W. Broadway, Red Lion is assisting the family with services. A Service to Honor and Celebrate Lois's life will begin at 11:00am at the church with Pastor Chris Golembiowski officiating. Burial will be at Freysville Cemetery.
