Mary Elizabeth (Warner) Bowles of Red Lion, entered into rest on Sunday, January 22, 2017 at 6:30 am at her residence at the age of 62. She was the wife of Dennis L. Bowles, whom she married in 1980, celebrating 36 years of marriage together.

She was born in Windsor on April 13, 1954 and was the daughter of Richard E. Warner and the late Helen (Workinger) Warner and step daughter of Arlene Warner of Red Lion.

Mary graduated from Red Lion High School, Class of 1972, and later graduated from Millersville University where she earned her degree in Social Studies. She was a homemaker, whom briefly worked as a substitute teacher and at the former Flinchbaugh Products in Red Lion for 7 years. She was a lifetime member of St. James Evangelical Lutheran Church in Brogue.

She is survived by her father and step mother, husband, Dennis; 2 sons, Christopher L. Bowles, Scott R. Bowles; 1 grandchild, Avery E. Bowles; a brother, David Warner, all of Red Lion and many nieces and nephews.

Viewing will be on Monday, January 30th from 6-8 pm at Burg Funeral Home, Inc., 134 W. Broadway, Red Lion, and on Tuesday, January 31st from 1-2pm at St. James Evangelical Lutheran Church; 2335 Cramer Rd., Brogue, PA. A Service of Honor and Praise will begin at 2pm at the church with her pastor, Rev. Kathleen A. Kuehl. Burial will follow at St. James Lutheran Cemetery.

Mary loved working outside and gardening. She also enjoyed going camping with her family and fishing on the boat with Dennis.
