Mary M. Ritz, of Wrightsville, went from life to Life Eternal on Thursday, December 7, 2017 after a brief illness at 10:20 pm at Lancaster General Hospital at the age of 98. She was born in Lower Windsor on November 30, 1919 and was the daughter of the late Arthur M. and Esther (Weaver) Ritz.

She was an Inspector at NTN- BCA Corporation, retiring in 2003 after 35 years of service. She was one of the charter members of Calvary Bible Church in Wrightsville where she was very active with church activities. Mary taught Sunday School for 81 years and sang in the choir.

She was the eldest of nine children. She leaves her youngest brother, Norwood L. Ritz of Wrightsville to cherish her memory along with numerous nieces and nephews and extended family of her very best friend, Marie Wise who preceded her in death. She was also preceded by her seven siblings, Floyd Ritz, Marlet Ritz, Kenneth Ritz, Robert Ritz, Donald Ritz, Leon Ritz and Kay Fauth.

A viewing for Mary will be held on Wednesday, December 13, 2017 from 9 to 10 am at Calvary Bible Church, 125 Calvary Church Road, Wrightsville. A Service of Honor and Praise for Mary will begin at 10 am at the church with her pastor, Joe L. Fauth officiating. Burial will be in Craley Cemetery. Burg Funeral Home, Inc., 134 W. Broadway, Red Lion will be assisting with the family.

In earlier years, Mary would play baseball with the boys as the pitcher. She loved life and everyone she met. She was a very caring, giving and loving person, but also very strong willed. Though she never had any children of her own, she shared her love with everyone else's children. She always carried candy to share with the kids. Her greatest love was her Lord and Savior, and she made sure to share the good news of the Lord with everyone. She will be missed, until we meet again.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Mary's memory may be offered to: Calvary Bible Church, 125 Calvary Church Road, Wrightsville, PA 17368.
